Some time ago my wife and me left the organization of Jehovah Witness. (JW)
It´s kind of ironic really, because one of the reason why we left the organization is because - according to what the Bibel told us - the organization does not serve Jehovah the way He want to be served.
The ironic part is this: We left the organization to serve Jehovah - but in the way He tells us, and in the same time the org. claim to do the same.. So - how to know what is the right way to serve Jehovah? Well - thats the easy part! We just have to look at the Bible!
(When we was witness, we never saw or understood those things I´m about to show You. We did read it, but didn´t really see what was written; we didn´t really understand what it said.)(I must add: this blog will contain loads of quotes from Gods word; I´ll mark them in blue colour so that they will appear more clearly. I also must ask You to use Your own Bibel to control my statements - and ask You to take the connection under concideration. One of the problems with the Org. is that they pull out singel verses from whatever connection they appear in, and use them to prove their doctrines - this is highly unaccseptable!
I don´t know what translation You use; I guess I can use ´The King James Bible´? It doesn´t really matter; the meaning is the same in almost every translations - exept in the NW of JW.. That´s a very bad transaltion; no matter what the Org. try to tell everyone. I can prove that.)
The one reason (there are many more..) for leaving the JW.Org. I will highlight in this letter, is this:
In 1983, The Febryary 15 Watchtower says this on page 12:
¨Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as a part of it¨.
The September 1 Watchtower, 1989, page 19, have this statement:
¨Only Jehovah´s witnesses, those of the annointed remnant and the ´great crowd´, as a united organization under the protection of the supreme Organizer, have any scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil¨.
Note what it say: It´s only those who are active members and part of the org. that can have any hope for everlasting life - all the rest will have no hope. WOW. What do You think about this? Does this statement sound true to You? What if I could show You why this is a lie? I can. I will. Because its not from the Bibel. It´s from the Org. .
How to prowe that this is nothing but a complete lie?
It´s not difficult, because we really only have to look at one singel thing - and it all falls chrumbling to the ground. It is described in: Roman 5: 18-21
18 Therefore as by the offence of one (Adam) [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus Christ) [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
I really hope you are a man of reflection.. Because what I´m going to show you request deep thinking and - perhaps - the will to see something new. I have read those word above many many times before without ever noticing what they says.. I didn´t have the right canal tuned in. To understand this we must have acsess to only one canal: the holy spirit.
Luke 11:
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
The Holy spirit is a free gift to anyone that ask for it.
So, how does The Holy Spirit help us to understand the word Paul told the Romans above?
Note that the free gift came upon ¨all men unto justification of life¨. There´s no exception. It´s really easy to understand why: All men became under sin because of Adam. Therefor all men must be sat free by the sacrifice of Jesus, right?
So the sacrifice of Jesus Christ completely chrush the stantement of JW . Theres no way it can be true.
But - theres another very interessting detail in the word of Paul - you might have noticed them?
... so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.¨
Why does´nt Paul use the same word here - all men - ? What is the difference? How can all be set free, but only some of them be made righteous?
It has to do with the will of God: John 6:
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
You get this? The will of Jehovah is that we shall believe on him whom he hath sent. Jesus.
What does this make us?
Romans 5:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You might already now understand the difference between ¨all men¨ and those ¨many made righteous¨? To make sure You do: The effect of the sacrifice of Jesus is for all mankind; theres no exceptions. His sacrifice is for every singel human that has lived on the face of this planet. (Possible excapt for those who has been killed by Jehova himself.)
But those who belive in this sacrifice is in a special situation. They are highly favoured! Did you note: ¨we have peace with God¨?
What does this mean? Eternal life. Like Jesus said it: John 5:
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
First we note: heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life.
The demands is to listen to Jesus, and to believe in Jehovah. The result: hath everlasting life.
But Jesus tells us more!
He say that those who listen to Him, and believe in Jehovah shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
(Let this be totally clear: EVERYONE who belive in Jesus Christ is saved by this faith. Our salvation does NOT depend on membership in a org. Any substitude for Jesus will bring death rather than life. To believe that ANYTHING or ANYONE ELSE has even the least to do with our salvation, is to have faith in something else but Jesus.)
Back to ...¨shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.¨
As a believer of Jesus Christ there will be no condemnation, no judgmentday. Believers has alredy ¨ passed from death unto life¨, by his or hers faith in Jesus.*
But what about all those who doesn´t believe in Jesus - or even know about Him? He saved all man, remember?
John 5:
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life*; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
This show me the following:
The believers will have eternal life because of their faith in Christ; the rest will get another chance, an resurrection unto life on the earth for 1000 year, in which they will learn to know Jesus - and thereby Jehovah - and if they adjust their hearts, they too will be given eternal life.
Hereby the love of God and His Son is perfect.
So for us to continue in the Org. of JW ment that we had to close our eyes for the true sacrifice of Jesus and its real effect, and also for the love of Jehovah. It also ment that we had to look at the rest of the body of Christ with condemnation; everyone who believe in Him is a part of this body. This is what the bibel show. (In 1 Cor 12: 13-31)
We could no longer resist the Holy Spirit. We could no longer resist the love of Jehovah, shown by Jesus.
In our eyes - and in the eyes of Jehovah and His Son - we have to preach GRACE, not condemnation: the Good news is not that Jesus saved ´some people´by using an org. - like JW - but that He saved all men....(Ask your self this: During the time between the apostles and 1931 - that is the year JW became Jehovahs Witnes by name - how could anyone get saved? There was no organization to join..
How could we partisipate with those who believe a complete lie?
I´ve now shown only one reason for leaving the org. of JW. There´s many, many more reasons, and they are all based on The Bible. I could easily spend a month writing about them all.. But this is the mean thing:
The org. is not showing the true way to salvation. By showing to it-self - like in the Wachtower articles just quoted - as the way to eternal life, it does the exact same thing as Moses did, pointing at himself and thereby taking the honour for bringing water out of the cliff instead of giving honour to Jehovah.
Did you get the connection? Just like Jehovah reacted at this act of Moses, He also react now. The water did spring out for the benefit of His people, and He continued working for the best for the people thorough Moses - but Moses himself was not allowed to enter the promised land.
This is a picture of how God can use anyone - including an org. - as long as they tell people about Jesus, He can accept them; but they will not be accepted into His Kingdom. The Witness org. has taken the credit for what He has done by His Son. This organization will not enter the new system.
Have you ever heard this statement: ¨Where did you first learn to know the truth? Isn´t it thoroug the watchtowers org.?¨
I´ve often been told this. By saying this, they show - very clearly - that in their eyes The Holy Spirit does have no effect what so ever for anyone else than the organization. But what does the bible say?
John 16:
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
As shown above, the Holy Spirit is given freely to whoever ask for it. But it is not given to those who reject Jesu posission as the highest in the univers, next to Jehovah.
Even thoug JW show that Jesus is the saver, they have a complete other version of this act of salvation than the Bible.
This was in fact one of the mean thing Paul was warning about in his letter to the Corintians!
2 Cor 11:
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].
(I really don´t like this translation, the word is so oldfashioned.. but anyway, it makes the right statements. If you rather like another translation, just tell me; I got serveral. My favorite is Weymouth new Testament, its very clear. Compare with this, as an example:
4 ¨If indeed some visitor is proclaiming among you another Jesus whom we did not proclaim, or if you are receiving a Spirit different from the One you have already received or a Good News different from that which you have already welcomed, your toleration is admirable!¨
It´s so much easier to understand.. But notice one detail about Paul here.. It´s not often you see Paul talking like this; he´s ironic! Driven by concern for the Corintians, he didn´t know how to wake them up! So, he use ironi. Just a little spiritual ´snack´bite..)
Now, I was talking about how someone would come along telling a different story about Christ than the one of the apostles. I can clearly see that this is exactly what JW is doing. And I´ve just shown you how.
This is just one of many reasons for leaving the org. of JW - or ANY other org. that twist the truth about Christ. The only way to know when someone is twisting it, is to fully understand it yourselves. This takes lots of studies, and you have to forget everything you have learned from the org. and only use the info you get from the Bible and by the Holy Spirit. All the letters from Paul is uniqe in explaining these things. I know his words is hard to understand - in the beginning I had severe difficulties understanding just what he was talking about! But now - wow, I really LOVE the way he speak! Why? Because he is so deep! His words reflect a uniq understanding - given by The Holy Spirit during the 3 days he was blinded before he started on his new Christian life. (Act 9: 1-22)

There´s a lot of interessting things to tell about Jesus - they all give you happiness and will make you safe in heart!

The Holy book has loads of info to us, all of the old testament points at Jesus, and all of the new Testament show the christians the true value of His life and sacrifice and how to live as His followers.
Every detail will give peace and joy into your heart. If they don´t, it´s not true.
Forget judgementday. If you´re a beliver of Christ, there will be no judgementday for you. I´ve just shown it .. Therefor: Have happiness in life - now! You will NEVER die! Your body will, but not your spirit. (The Bible will prove this for you if you like)
My wife and me are really happy now; we are free because of Jesus. Now we can really understand what the Bible is all about; because of the Holy Spirit. Now we can really understand the Love of Jehovah; because of Jesus.
